A grassroots organization that brings together more than 60,000 individual members and over 100 diverse coalition partners to help elect progressive candidates to public office and create a better future for families and communities. In 2005, together with our 501(c)(3) sister organization, Citizen Action of Wisconsin Fund, we held 95 events and mobilized more than 5,000 individuals to take action, from writing letters, to participating in rallies, press conferences, training sessions and public meetings.

A multiracial, interfaith organization committed to addressing justice issues that impact upon the community in which we live. MICAH's goal is to empower people to act together for justice in pursuit of their individual and collective interests.

Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership - www.wrtp.org
Parent group for BIG STEP and the Center of Excellence, a unique partnership of unions, government and business, WRTP is a leader in training skilled workers, developing programs to add minorities to the state construction work, and hooking citizens up with all of sorts of job opportunities. BIG STEP develops pre-apprentice training programs and minority hiring practices. The Center of Excellence works with unions and companies to develop skills, classes and employment.

A partner with NEA and WEAC, this union represents 6,200 Milwaukee schoolteachers plus educational assistants, substitute teachers and bookkeepers and is an active supporter of Milwaukee labor causes.

The School for Workers is the labor education department of the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Continuing Education. Its mission is to educate about issues of concern in the workplace, each year offering hundreds of programs to thousands of union representatives, officers, members, and employer representatives.
